Özdağ: These elections were neither fair nor honest

The Good Party’s Ümit Özdağ appeared in front of Beşiktaş Sub-Province Electoral Board at around 1.30 am. To the question, “Why is Ms Akşener not making an announcement?” he commented, “Ms Akşener made an announcement but the TV stations cut it off half way. That means the massive censorship is continuing.”

“Manipulations were carried out”

Indicating that he had come to Beşiktaş Sub-Province Electoral Board to obtain information, Özdağ said, “I am travelling around the sub-provinces in the second area one by one and collecting the result collation records from the colleagues, but my belief is that these elections were neither fair nor honest. Various manipulations were carried out.”

Following Özdağ's address, a citizen waiting in front of the sub-province electoral board vented his frustration saying, “You were unable to give us direction.” On the other hand, citizens waited in front of the sub-province electoral board until late in the morning. The group shouted slogans and protested the election result with applause.
