COME ON, LET’S BE ORGAN SIBLINGS

In Turkey, more than 22,000 people are awaiting kidneys, 2,239 livers, 2,549 corneas, 727 hearts, 272 pancreases and 50 lungs for organ transplantation. Most of the patients on the waiting list lose their lives due to the insufficient number of organ donations. Experts point out that adequate sensitivity has not been aroused over organ donations.
