The nation will emerge with its sovereignty intact

The CHP’s former general chair and Antalya MP Deniz Baykal is on the ‘No’ campaign trail. Baykal says that ruling circles are endeavouring to settle secret scores with the Republic using means available for furthering democracy. Baykal said with reference to voting in favour of constitutional amendment, ‘False gods will be brought in to rival the sovereignty of the people and the people will cease to be sovereign.’
