CHP General Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu convened with TV station representatives.

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu was accompanied at the meeting, which was held closed to the press at the Swissotel, by CHP Deputy General Chairs Yasemin Öney Cankurtaran and Erdoğan Toprak along with Istanbul MP Sezgin Tanrıkulu, CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair Cemal Canpolat and Beşiktaş Mayor Murat Hazinedar. The meeting was attended by the editors-in-chief, news coordinators, news directors and managers of TV stations. Kılıçdaroğlu said in a brief speech he made following the meeting: ‘We held a pleasant meeting with the media world. They asked questions and I tried to answer the questions with great sincerity. The subject matter was primarily the referendum.’

‘CONTROLLED COUP’

From what has been gleaned, CHP General Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu spoke of the 15 July coup attempt as being a ‘controlled coup’. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, noting, ‘I asked them if there can be a coup at half past nine? And their comments were also that they had been rumbled earlier. This means that they had prior knowledge of this coup, too,’ said, ‘The statements by Fethullah Gülen Terrorist Organisation members add weight to the opinion that it was a controlled coup.’

 ‘SPECIAL FILE’

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, saying that he has a ‘special file’ concerning 15 July, said, ‘I can hold a meeting later at which I can give details of these special files. This is not today’s topic.’

Kılıçdaroğlu reiterated his claim about MPs who use Bylock saying, ‘There are known to be 120-180 Bylock users in the ruling party. Let them reveal the Bylock-user MPs.’

ADİL ÖKSÜZ QUESTION

Kılıçdaroğlu asked, ‘Which state body gave Adil Öksüz his GPS device?’

 ‘POLL’ COMMENT

There is a significant hidden ‘No’ group. This group announces under intimidation that it is going to vote ‘Yes’, but will vote ‘No’ when it goes to the polls. In the final analysis, this is not a vote to approve a constitutional amendment. I want voters to cast their votes with this in mind. A constitution prepared in one party’s kitchen cannot be society’s constitution. My opinion is that ‘No’ will prevail.’
