The Justice Watch launched in Maçka by the CHP Istanbul Provincial Chair’s Office in support of the Justice March from Ankara to Istanbul that CHP General Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu has embarked on has completed its eleventh day. The No Assemblies marched from Beşiktaş to Maçka Park in support of the Justice Watch. No Assemblies volunteers congregated in front of the Eagle Statue carrying placards reading ‘Justice’ and banners reading ‘Justice for all.’ The slogan, ‘We want justice for all’ rang out frequently on the march. As the crowd entered the park, cheers of ‘The no-crowd has arrived’ reverberated in chorus. Following various addresses and speeches, theatre actor Genco Erkal came on stage. Erkal, who recited Nâzım Hikmet poems from the stage for a while, said, ‘In Maçka Park, to live singly and free like a tree and in brotherhood like a forest. Justice for all journalists, academics and Nuriye and Semih.’ Those in attendance applauded these words by Genco Erkal at length. The watch in front of the prison in support of Enis Berberoğlu, who is being detained in Maltepe Prison, was taken over yesterday by the Islands, Ümraniye and Çekmeköy sub-province chair’s offices. The CHP members, who also held an Eid greetings ceremony here, expressed their desire for justice for all in the announcement they made.
