Fresh comment by Kılıçdaroğlu

With CHP General Chair Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu having revealed documents at his party’s group meeting, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s lawyer Özel stated that the revealed documents were false. The latest comment has come from Kılıçdaroğlu in the form of a post on his Twitter account: “You have denied it again. You wanted proof and I proved it.”

“With your relatives opening companies abroad to avoid tax and sending millions of dollars to those companies, you are going to come out and tell the people to exchange their dollars! You have denied it again. You wanted proof and I proved it. If you are an honourable man, you will keep your word and do what is called for.

I have done what falls to me. I have exposed with documents before the eyes of the nation the dirty nature of the arrangements your relatives and you are mixed up in. I have never and will never stay silent in the face of injustice. Will you by any chance do what falls to you and get out of this nation’s hair?

You are going to besmirch me and the CHP for the documents we have revealed. Just realise that I fear nothing because I am beyond reproach! I understand your rage and fear very well, though. You are the leading actor of a government that has been bleeding Turkey dry for years!”
