Taksim Solidarity has called for a mobilisation around the trial, set to start on 6 April, into Berkin’s killing during the Gezi Resistance. His father Sami Elvan said, ‘It is four years since Berkin was shot and three since we gave him his send-off. Our fight to bring Berkin’s killers to justice is not for our past, but for our future.’
