CHP: Lift the state of emergency or we’ll start social opposition

The Republican People’s Party came out into the street in opposition to the state of emergency at the same time in 81 provinces.

 Istanbul Province Chair Cemal Canpolat spoke on behalf of CHP members, who assembled in Şişhane Square in Istanbul.

 Canpolat, calling on the state of emergency to be lifted immediately, said, “If the state of emergency is not lifted, we will start social opposition along with the rest of the left-wing world and the ÖDP, EMEP, Confederation of Progressive Trade Unions, Confederation of Public Employees' Trade Unions, HDP and the Felicity Party.”
