Pregnant woman jumps from building after blast

3 people died and 8 others got injured in an explosion in a 4-storey-apartment in Beştelsiz neighbourhood of Istanbul on Saturday morning. The first body was taken out of the wreckage at 6.50pm, the second on at 7.35pm, and the third one at about 10.50pm nearly 11 hours after the blast. The third body was detected as of Eda Can, a 23-year-old woman, while an identification work for the other 2 bodies continues. The wounded 8 people are treated in nearby hospitals.

An 8 and a half months pregnant woman jumped from her flat after the explosion as a fire broke out following the blast. The woman was caught on a stretched tarp while the moments were recorded on a camera.

The pregnant woman and her unborn baby were reported to be in good condition at the hospital, where they are kept under medical observation.
