Remanded eight months ago and now on trial

Twenty-seven defendants, including singer Atilla Taş and journalist Murat Aksoy, were brought before a court yesterday after eight months, charged with being FETO’s media wing. The presiding judge has turned out to be the same judge who remanded Taş, Aksoy, Mutlu Çölgeçen and Gökçe Fırat. Their counsels’ application to recuse the judge was denied.
