TURKISH ARMED FORCES DISPUTE RUSSIA’S STATEMENT

In the aftermath of Russia’s strike on Turkish soldiers in Al-Bab, a ‘coordinates crisis’ is unfolding between the two countries. The Kremlin, following the ‘friendly fire’ in which three soldiers died, said, ‘Turkey provided the coordinates.’ The Turkish Armed Forces, disputing this comment from Moscow, indicated that Turkish soldiers had been in the area struck by Russia for ten days.

COORDINATION BEARS NO FRUIT

The friendly fire points to the failure of the military coordination established between the two countries. Now, the two countries will sit back down at the table next week.
