Bombed attack in İzmir

A car bomb attack in the Agean province of Izmir near the courthouse left at least two people dead including a police officer and a civil servant, 11 others wounded on Thursday.

Three terrorists also entered into an armed clash with police, two of whom were later killed.
Clashes at the scene have been continuing, where also a there was burning car at the scene.
The explosion occurred at the entrance for judges and prosecutors. A number of ambulances were dispatched to the scene. Turkey’s media watchdog, the Radio and Television Supreme Council (RTÜK), also announced a gag order on reporting the attack.
