‘Room in the palace’ reply

Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu hit out firmly at MHP leader Bahçeli, who had directed criticism at his party on social media. Kılıçdaroğlu said, ‘We have responsibility towards our history, country and children. We are not engaging in opposition with an eye on a room in the palace, but are fighting for the country, people and flag.’
Kılıçdaroğlu, saying that if the constitutional amendment is accepted, parliament will be consigned to the grave and the democratic parliamentary system to history, replied to journalists’ questions about Bahçeli’s criticisms, ‘Where the country is involved everything else pales into insignificance.’
