I cannot consign him to the dark soil!

There were heart-wrenching laments from Semra Özcan, wife of deceased policeman Miraç Kadir Özcan, saying ‘I cannot consign him to the dark soil. He’s still very young’ and from Gülseren Ava, wife of deceased policeman Mahmut Ava, saying ‘Please don’t take him away. Don’t separate us.’ Miraç Kadir Özcan’s remains were sent to Trabzon, those of Şenali Ocak to Izmir, Ali Sevim to Eskişehir and Mahmut Ava to Osmaniye.
