FETO suspect’s reference no stranger

Darende Sub-Provincial Governor Ali Türk, who has been remanded in custody as part of a FETO/PYD investigation being conducted by the Gaziantep Public Prosecution, said in his statement to the prosecution that he passed the interview stage of his exam to become a sub-provincial governor by pointing to Bilal Erdoğan as a reference.
Türk said in his statement, ‘I passed the interview in the sub-provincial governorship exam I took most recently in 2008. As to the important person I told the police I cited as a reference, I got hold of our President’s son Bilal Erdoğan. That is how I passed the interview and became a sub-provincial governor.’
