Foreign tourists to Turkey increased by 8.2 pct. in April

Foreign tourists visited Turkey in April increased by 8.2 percent to 2.65 million, against in the same month of 2013, said in a Culture And Tourism Ministry statement on Monday.

Number of foreign tourists visited Turkey in the first four months of the year rose by 5.1 percent to 7.0 million against the same period of last year.

Germany was the most tourist sending country to Turkey in the first four months of the year, with 887,632 tourists and 12.7 percent share, followed by Iran, Georgian and Bulgaria.
