‘NO’ IS HEALTHIER

Doctors rounded up activities commemorating 14 March Medicine Day with a march. Doctors in white overalls and with carnations participated in the march organised chiefly by the Istanbul Medical Chamber and the Turkish Medical Association.

Turkish Medical Association Chair, Prof Dr Raşit Tükel, said they would vote ‘No’ in the referendum in view of health policies. On the march joined by many doctors and medical students, the slogans: ‘Equal, free health for all,’ ‘A country of no’s, a healthy future’ and ‘No to dying while working’ were chanted.
