The consultancy company owned by Nazmiye Sümeyye Sayan, sister of leading actor in the crisis with the Netherlands, Minister of Family and Social Policies Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya, and, at the same time, AKP member of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality’s assembly, has won a tender worth more than one million Turkish lira from the AKP Gaziosmanpaşa Municipality. It is in fact forbidden for people who are serving as assembly members at municipalities to bid in tenders.

It is noteworthy that Sayan was awarded the Women and Family Services Directorates ‘psychological support services’ tender by the AKP municipality in her big sister’s time as a minister. The sharing of the same telephone number by Sümeyye Sayan’s company and the law office of her father Ramazan Sayan, known for his closeness to Erdoğan, shows that this is a ‘family business’. Sümeyye Sayan’s company was established in 2014 with a capital of TRY 10,000.
