The event ‘Quarter of a Century’s Labour: Turhan Günay and Cumhuriyet Book’ held in Bursa was attended by Günay’s friends. Writer Ayşe Sarısayın compared Günay’s experiences to those of Joseph K, the hero of Kafka’s novel The Trial. Turkish folk musician Nida Ateş, for his part, performed folksongs loved by Günay.
