‘Prime Minister slapped me’ claims man

A young man claimed that he had been slapped by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a protest following the mine disaster in Soma.

Taner Kuruca has claimed that he was slapped by Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a protest that took place when the PM visited Soma district of Manisa province in western Turkey, where the recent mine disaster has so far left nearly 300 workers dead.

The man also suffered injuries that he sustained after the PM’s guards allegedly attacked him.
