Hunt launched against Cumhuriyet staff: Our accountant Emre İper arrested

Our paper’s financial administrator Emre İper was arrested following a search made by the police in a midnight raid. Our paper’s employee Yavuz Yakışkan was arrested at his home in the past few days.

These actions by the prosecution in the immediate aftermath of the drafting of the indictment into our paper’s columnists and managers show that the investigation is being conducted in an open-ended manner and the operation to silence our paper has not ended.
