Prime-Minister Yıldırım does not favour the amended constitution being put to a referendum in April. The first reason for this is the economic crisis, the second is potential terrorist attacks and the third is Trump. Yıldırım states that he has imparted these concerns to the president. Yıldırım also has a question that he has raised with Erdoğan without obtaining a reply: Why did Bahçeli bring the presidency onto the agenda for no apparent reason?
