They asked somebody ‘in the know’!
Birol Erdem, who conducted negotiations for FETOists at the Court of Cassation has become a witness in the investigation
Birol Erdem, about whom figures such as former Supreme Board of Judges and Prosecutors members, FETO-confessees İbrahim Okur, Ahmet Hamsici and Mustafa Kemal, have said, ‘He played a role in making the brotherhood influential in the judiciary,’ has become a witness, not a defendant, in the investigation.
The confessees have said that Erdem was also involved in brotherhood negotiations leading to their appointment as Court of Cassation members. Erdem, former Ministry of Justice General Director of Staff and Undersecretary, is now Prime-Minister Yıldırım’s chief advisor.
