Fifty honourable years

DİSK General Chair Kani Beko, who addressed the event attended by Cumhuriyet Foundation General Chair and our paper’s publisher, Orhan Erinç, and our paper’s columnist, Şükran Soner, stated that DİSK had not kneeled to pressure of any kind. Beko, also referring to constitutional amendment, said, ‘We will call for a ‘No’ vote on workers’ buses, in canteens and wherever there are workers.’
