The blockade of Cumhuriyet continues... Oğuz Güven arrested

Editor-in-Chief of Cumhuriyet newspaper’s website, Oğuz Güven, announced on his Twitter account at 07:15 this morning that he had been arrested

Oğuz Güven was taken to the Vatan Street Police Headquarters for his statement to be taken. The reason for Güven’s arrest is as yet unknown. Güven was taken to the judicial complex following his procedures at police headquarters. The Republic Prosecutor has ordered that Oğuz Güven remain under arrest for seven days.
