Afrin operation in Ankara

The police in Ankara are carrying out searches at the homes of people who have made social media posts in opposition to the Afrin operation. HDP members and journalists are said to be among those to have had their homes searched.
 
It is claimed that arrest orders have been issued for HDP members Nadir Yıldırım, Zeyno Bayramoğlu, Aslı Bayramoğlu, Fatin Kanat, Kemal Bülbül and Osman Konukçu. It was also decided to conduct searches at the homes of HDP Ankara provincial and sub-provincial administrators. Pursuant to the decision, the police conducted searches of homes.
 
Journalists Sibel Hürtaş ve Hayri Demir arrested
 
Police conducted searches at the homes of Artı Gerçek Ankara Representative journalist Sibel Hürtaş and Mezopotamya Agency reporter Hayri Demir. The journalists were arrested following the searches in Ankara.
