Baluken walks free - eyes are on the other HDP members

The releasing of the HDP’s İdris Baluken by Diyarbakır Serious Crime Court No 8, citing the Constitutional Court’s Mustafa Balbay ruling by way of precedent, brings hope for the remanded HDP members.
Following the Baluken ruling, eyes have turned to Selahattin Demirtaş’s trial, that will be heard before the same court. Jurists are arguing that all HDP members should be released in keeping with the decision.
