PM Erdogan leaves in anger after argument with TBB Chairman

Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan left in anger the ceremony taking place in Istanbul to mark the 146th anniversary of the Council of State’s foundation on Saturday morning, after criticizing the speech of Prof Metin Feyzioglu, the Chairman of Bar Association of Turkey (TBB). PM left the hall in anger after accusing Prof Feyzioglu of delivering a ‘political’ speech, in which the TBB Head criticized the government.

President Abdullah Gul, the leader of the main opposition Republican People’s Party (CHP) Kemal Kilicdaroglu, and Chief of General Staff Gen. Necdet Ozel were among the participants of the ceremony during the incident.
