‘NOT A RELIABLE PERIOD’
President Erdoğan has been unable to deny that ‘No’ is ahead in the poll results to reach him on the constitutional referendum set to be held on 16 April. Erdoğan said, ‘We are not currently in a reliable polling period. I would be lying if I said certain polls are not coming through.’
WAITING TO HIT THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL
Erdoğan, speaking prior to the visit he is making to Gulf countries and implying that the polls will change once he sets out on the campaign trail, said, ‘I don’t think there is even a chance that the people have yet come to a position where they fully understand the Presidential system. Because we need to explain this well to our people.’
