Diabetic Mehmet Yıldızbakan, who had been imprisoned for five years and was included on the Human Rights Association’s list of ‘seriously ill prisoners’, died of a heart attack the day before yesterday. Yıldızbakan, who had made countless applications for release on parole on health grounds, got nowhere with his applications. Yıldızbakan was set to be released in July.
