‘The country has now hit rock bottom’

Erkan Oğur and İsmail Hakkı Demircioğlu’s new album Encountering the Unknown is on the shelves. The pair, who say, ‘We call out to the sorrow of being human,’ are not at all happy with the state of the country. With Demircioğlu saying, ‘What’s happening in the country is a disgrace. We have hit rock bottom. The referendum is totally unnecessary. But, for the first time, I’m hopeful in a positive sense,’ Oğur says, ‘I wish health, peace of mind and wellbeing to the country and all our people and the animals, trees, birds, insects and streams and our land.’
