SHARING SAME YARD WITH FORMER HABERTÜRK EMPLOYEE
From the report based on information conveyed by Die Welt newspaper’s Yücel’s lawyer, it would appear that Yücel’s cell has been changed after 290 days and, even if he continues to be housed in a one-person cell, he shares a common yard with former Habertürk employee Oğuz Usluer.
Deniz Yücel’s wife, Dilek Mayatürk Yücel, included Die Welt’s article about this matter and details of developments in a post she made on her Twitter account over this affair and indicated that she would glean information about the new cell on Monday.
German Minister of Justice, Heiko Maas, said that the German government would do everything for Deniz Yücel to return home. Minister Maas added to his comment that they would do this step by step and would not reduce the effort they were making.
